G. Asa Ginapp
Born in Sioux City, Iowa, Asa was raised in a small farming community in Northeastern Colorado. He double majored at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa, and graduated with Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Politics and Theatre. Thereafter, Asa received his law degree with high honors from Drake University Law School, in Des Moines, Iowa, where he focused on developing litigation skills and excelled in the areas of torts law, complex litigation, and civil procedure.
While in law school, Asa worked as a law clerk for one of Iowa’s premiere personal injury law firms. His experience as a law clerk cultivated a passion for fighting for the little guy and standing up to injustice. He also worked as a research assistant doing significant research in the area of government waste through mismanagement of government agencies to assist in the completion of a book by Drake University Law School Professor James A. Albert.
After law school, Asa spent several years with a large, Las Vegas law firm where he was involved with many large cases involving people that were significantly injured, including cases involving casinos, taxi and limo drivers, bus companies and apartment complexes. He also represented companies of all sizes in commercial complex litigation matters. Asa has never lost sight of his goal to represent injured people.
Asa is also committed to improving his community through service. He recently began pro bono (free) representation of abused and neglected children through the Children’s Advocate Program administered by Legal Aid of Southern Nevada.
When he is not fighting for his clients, Asa loves spending time his wife (who is his high school sweetheart) and their daughter exploring parks and other various family recreation opportunities inside Las Vegas and out. He also enjoys golfing with friends and colleagues, fishing, and attending live sports events.
